Jonak Das

Jonak Das is a Senior Faculty at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, affiliated to the discipline Design for Retail Experience, at the Bengaluru campus. Earlier to this, he has been the Discipline Lead, in the discipline of Exhibition design at the NID Ahmedabad campus from April 2016 to February 2022. At NID, he also holds the position of Head of Industry Relations and Alumni Affairs, under which he engages in dialogues with the industry and NID alumni for creating frameworks and modes of engagement to build long term relationships between academia at NID and the Industry.

He has over twenty-five years of professional experience in the domain of Spatial Environment and Experience design – pavilions, exhibitions, museums, signage design, Interiors, events, etc. and Product design. He has been continuing his professional practices parallel to his journey in the academic world.
